An Original Gift

It’s a good thing that there are teachers in the world – the people who encourage us to learn, teach us to be kind, take joy in our achievements and show empathy in the moments of defeat. Their professional holiday – Teachers’ Day is coming soon.

Just imagine how happy your favorite teacher will be when you give her this original photo frame vase as a present.

You’ll need:

A half-litre jar

Acrylic paints

A sponge

Flowers

Stickers (from the magazine)

A photo

1. First, cut out a circle out of paper (up to 7 cm in diameter). Then stick it to a clean, dry surface of the jar.
2. Dip the sponge in acrylic paint (use the colour of your choice) and use it to colour the outer surface of the jar. After the paint dries up, tear offthe paper circle. Decorate the frame edges with the stickers which you can find in the middle of the magazine.
3. After that, place a photo of you and the teacher into the unpainted “circle” of the jar.
4. To turn this unique photo frame into a vase, you need to put a composition of flowers, autumn leaves, (on skewers) into it. No doubt, your teacher will be happy to receive such an original gift that her favorite students made themselves.
